Dos AlumniSAUJI crean Wisclic, una herramienta para facilitar al máximo el trabajo de los desarrolladores

David Chiva y Carlos García acabaron en 2016 el Grado en Ingeniería Informática de la Universitat Jaume I. Tras varios años ampliando su formación y adquiriendo experiencia laboral, en 2019 han apostado por emprender su propio proyecto empresarial que recientemente se ha instalado en el edificio Espaitec 2.

Su idea de negocio surge de la frase “esto se puede automatizar” que tantas veces escucharon de sus profesores en la Universitat Jaume I, con los que descubrieron el potencial que podía tener la informática. Así surgió Wisclic, una herramienta que da nombre a su empresa, y que facilita al máximo el desarrollo y el despliegue de aplicaciones web para los desarrolladores.

Esta solución ofrece una serie de herramientas que ayudan en la gestión de un proyecto como por ejemplo sistemas de gestión de tareas, de automatización de pagos o de gestión de incidencias con el cliente. La empresa también desarrolla software a medida para terceros, donde se han especializado en aplicaciones web y aplicaciones móviles.

Este proyecto emprendedor acaba de instalarse en Espaitec para seguir creciendo y colaborando con la UJI

El principal objetivo de estos emprendedores es favorecer la transformación digital del tejido empresarial de Castellón a través de sus sistema Wisclic, que unifica y simplifica en un mismo entorno todas aquellas herramientas que puede necesitar un desarrollador web durante el ciclo de vida de un proyecto. “Nuestro sistema permite generar mejores tiempos, un código más robusto, más fiable, más organizado y por lo tanto, más sostenible a lo largo del tiempo”, afirma David Chiva, socio fundador del proyecto.

Como antiguos alumnos de la UJI siempre han visto Espaitec como el entorno tecnológico más importante de la provincia. Siendo una empresa innovadora del sector informático tuvieron claro desde el principio que querían instalarse en Espaitec para seguir creciendo en un entorno lleno de facilidades. “Siempre hemos visto como las empresas de Espaitec interactúan con los alumnos a través de charlas, cursos y eventos para fomentar el aprendizaje y el talento de los estudiantes. Ahora como emprendedores queremos participar en esos eventos desde la otra parte y devolver a la Universitat Jaume I un poco de todo lo que ella nos ha dado” , concluye Carlos García, socio fundador de Wisclic.

Two AlumniSAUJI create Wisclic, a tool that very much facilitates the work of developers

In 2016, David Chiva and Carlos García finished their Degree of Computer Engineering at the Universitat Jaume I. After several years of further training and acquiring work experience, in 2019 they have decided to take on entrepreneurship with their new business project, which has recently set up in the Espaitec 2 building.

Their business idea emerged from the words “this can be automated” which they so often heard from their teachers at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), which whom they discovered  the potential that computing offers. This was how Wisclic came about, a tool that lends its name to their company, and greatly facilitates the development and deployment of web applications for their developers.

This solution offers a series of tools to help project management, like task management systems, automating payments or managing incidences with customers. This company also develops made-to-measure software for third parties for which it has specialised in web and mobile phone applications.

This entrepreneurial project has just set up at Espaitec to continue growing and collaborating with the UJI

The main objective of these entrepreneurs is to favour digital transformation for the Castellón business fabric via its system Wisclic, which combines and simplifies in a single environment all the tools that a web developer may need during a project’s life cycle. “Our system leads to better timing, and to coding that is more robust, reliable and organised that is, therefore, more sustainable with time”, David Chiva says, a founder partner of the project.

As former UJI students, they have always seen Espaitec as the most important technological environment in the province. As an innovative company in the computer engineering sector, both were absolutely clear from the start that they wanted to set up at Espaitec to continue growing in a place filled with facilities.

“We had always seen how Espaitec companies interacted with students through talks, courses and events to encourage students’ learning and talent. Now we, as entrepreneurs, wish to participate in these events from the other side and return to the Universitat Jaume I a bit of what it has given us”, concludes Carlos García, a founder partner of Wisclic.
