In 2016, David Chiva and Carlos García completed the Degree in Computer Engineering at the Universitat Jaume I. After several years expanding their training and acquiring work experience, in 2019 they decided to start their own business project which has recently been installed in the building Espaitec 2.
Your business idea comes from the phrase “this can be automated” that they heard so many times from their professors at the Universitat Jaume I, with whom they discovered the potential that computing could have. This is how it came about Wisclic, a tool that gives its name to your company, and that makes the development and deployment of web applications as easy as possible for developers.
This solution offers a series of tools that help in project management such as task management systems, payment automation systems or customer incident management systems. The company also develops custom software for third parties, where they have specialized in web applications and mobile applications.
This entrepreneurial project has just been installed in Espaitec to continue growing and collaborating with the UJI
El main objective of these entrepreneurs is promote digital transformation of the business fabric of Castellón through its system Wisclic, which unifies and simplifies in the same environment all those tools that a web developer may need during the life cycle of a project. “Our system allows us to generate better times, a more robust, more reliable, more organized and therefore more sustainable code over time,” says David Chiva, founding partner of the project.
As former UJI students, they have always seen Espaitec as the most important technological environment in the province. Being a innovative company from the computer sector were clear from the beginning that they wanted to settle in Espaitec to continue growing in a environment full of facilities. “We have always seen how Espaitec companies interact with students through talks, courses and events to promote student learning and talent. Now as entrepreneurs we want to participate in these events from the other side and give back to the Universitat Jaume I a little of everything it has given us,” concludes Carlos García, founding partner of Wisclic.
