The Science, Technology and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I (espaitec) has brought together some 20 public and private institutions from the province of Castellón, which promote entrepreneur initiative and business growth. The event has followed a brainstorming methodology by all the invited groups. Positive matters, negative matters and proposals for improvement have been dealt with and will be worked on and prioritised in forthcoming weeks to plan new future collaboration actions.

The workshop is well represented by various organisations linked to the Vice-Rector of Studies, Occupation and Innovation of the Universitat Jaume I (UJI). The Increa Chair, the Educational Support Unit and the Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice (OIPEP) were some of the participants, which set out the initiatives taken by the UJI to identify university talent and promote their entrepreneurial capacity. Of the data provided, it is worth stressing the entrepreneur intention in 2013 among students, which considerably increased if compared to previous years.

Students were represented by associations like EADE Consulting Junior Empresa, iWeekendUJI or DevelUp. Équipe VIA-UJI/Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 participated as an example of collaboration between students and teachers to carry out a project with an international impact. Mercedes Segarra, a teacher of the business initiative subject, explained the present situation of students for entrepreneurial action.
