What if my research work could help start create a company?
Espaitec and Fundación Globalis with the Universitat Jaume I`s (UJI) collaboration are organising this free workshop, held on Monday 14 November that addresses UJI R&D teachers and research groups to test whether your thesis or research work can be exploited as a business idea and can start to create a company. During the workshop, held from 09:00h to 13:00h in the e’suc Hall of the espaitec 1 building, collaborative work will be done to analyse the feasibility of the proposed ideas on the market, and to present and make known the various support tools to put them into practice that the UJI has.
Jesús Lanci and Paco Negre, the UJI Vice-Rector of Innovation and PhD and the General Director of espaitec, respectively, will firstly welcome everyone to this workshop. Then ideas promoted by UJI researchers and PhD students will be presented to collaboratively analyse if the undertaken research work can help start a company. For this purpose, methodologies will be used to analyse their feasibility, the added value of the proposed solution, the market requirement it responds to and the minimum feasible product to be able to set up a project. The intention is to provide researchers with singular capacities to help them deal with the challenges that society faces in general from the professional world. This workshop will finish by explaining all the innovative entrepreneurial tools that the UJI places at your disposal.
