The Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV) announces the first edition of the rePCV Awards. The objective of these awards is to acknowledge the activity of enterprising and business initiatives by considering their growth, innovative nature, business strategy and what they contribute to the environment.
Moreover, rePCV intends to contribute to the development and consolidation of created and developed firms, motivate and encourage the enterprising spirit, and promote and reinforce University-Company relationships in the five Valencian science parks.
The rePCV Awards are divided into three categories
- A Spin-off Award: for companies promoted by teaching-research personnel, PhDs or undergraduate students, created from exploiting research results, and considered spin-offs by any public Valencian university. These companies should be located in or linked with any of the Valencian science parks
- The Start-up Award: for innovative companies promoted by students/former students from any public Valencian university. These companies should be located in or linked with any of the Valencian science parks and must have been set up after 1 January 2015
- The University–Company Collaboration Award: for those companies that participate with any public Valencian university in R&D programmes and/or projects whose results have led to a close ongoing collaboration relationship, and have helped develop the Valencian economy
The deadline date to send applications is until Sunday 8 December 2019.
