The firm Compark Mobility, linked with Espaitec, the Science and Technology Park of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, has developed the Compark Mobility application to empower personal micromobility via its parking solutions. With its app, users of electric scooters and bicycles can search for parking spaces, know if they are available, and easily, conveniently and safely park them.
Compark Mobility is available in iOS and Android systems, and works easily and intuitively. Users can identify parking spaces that employ the Compark Internet of Things (IoT) system and park their vehicles by simply clicking their mobile phones, which avoids using padlocks or other securing systems. This Castellón technology-based firm is already distributing the system to manufacturers of lockers and car parks so that more and more companies can integrate it into their designs.
Compark Mobility is also designing its own database with all car parks in Castellón so that users can consult this city’s whole parking infrastructure from their mobiles even if they do not count on this technology. Using this system also offers facilities for users. When they employ data, they can also identify those areas where more infrastructure is needed for electric scooters and bicycles.

This firm’s team is made up by Boris Escandell and Carles Aragón. They both founded the firm to reduce pollution in cities by encouraging zero-emission transport, contributing to meet the Castellón 2030 Urban Agenda, among others.
Compark Mobility was founded in 2021 after receiving finance from Banco Santander through Santander Universidades, and for being one of the awarded projects in the third edition of the Universitat Jaume I Social Enterprising Programme called «UJI Emprèn OnSocial». This is an initiative promoted jointly by the Vice-Rectors of Research and Transfer and of Students and Social Commitment, specifically through the INCREA Chair of Innovation, Creativity and Learning, and the General Universitat Jaume I Foundation that manages Espaitec, and in collaboration with SECOT Castellón.
