The company Biótica, based at Espaitec, the Science, Technology and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I, will attend Expocida Iberia 2020 on 20 and 21 February. This is the most important sector for Pest Control and Environmental Health. Inma Solís, the CEO of Biótica, will travel to Madrid to represent the company.
Among the novelties presented on these dates, the speech “Legal changes in preventing and controlling Legionella” stands out, given by Covadonga Caballo, the Deputy General Manager of Environmental Health of the Ministry of Health. Some of these legal changes will include the use of rapid detection kits for Legionella, including Legipid®, an immunomagnetic kit covered by Standard UNE100030:2017 that Biótica developed.
Biótica is an Innovative Technology-Based Company (ITBC) that, apart from developing rapid detection kits for microorganisms, also commercialises the only automated kits able to directly analyse water in any installation to detect if Legionella is present. This Ulisens series equipment (On site and Desktop) uses the patented Legipid® technology, and totally operates automatically.
After the 15th Congress on Environmental Health held in Valencia, this will be yet another chance to listen to an interesting speech by Covadonga Caballo, entitled this time “Legal changes in preventing and controlling Legionella”.
