On Monday 30 November, the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) and the Vinaroz Town Council will organise the «2 Innovation UJI – Companies Event». It will be opened at the Vinalab center by María Cano, the Councillor for the Treasury, Industry and Employment, along with the UJI Deputy Vice-Rector of Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, David Cabedo.
This online event will continue with the speech “Towards knowledge transfer. Financing R&D&i projects with Company-University collaboration” by Ismael Rodrigo, Manager of the Cooperation Office for Technological Research and Development (OCIT – UJI). Juan A. Bertolín, the Managing Director of Espaitec and the Manager of the General UJI Foundation, who will briefly explain the methodology to follow in the One to One meetings scheduled between UJI research groups and companies from the Vinaroz area.
Innovation and technology are key drivers to leave the present crisis behind. During this event, research personnel from the UJI and professionals from firms in the Vinaroz area, explored collaboration possibilities to respond to the challenges of the present situation.
This event forms part of the second phase of Knowledge Transfer Antennae Project undertaken by the Fundación General de la Universitat Jaume I,, which is responsible for managing Espaitec, and was financed by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) by the Promoting Knowledge and Technology Transfer agreement between University and Companies and Supporting Innovative Entrepreneurship, signed with the Science Parks of the Valencian Community.
