THE UJI’s SCIENTIFIC CULTURE AND INNOVATION UNIT (UCC+I) IS EXERCISING THIS INITIATIVE FOR ESPAITEC COMPANIES
Espaitec, the Science and Technology Park of the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), is promoting the design of Innovative Knowledge Transfer Models in two areas: health and sustainability, along with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the digital domain.
This initiative has been devised with support from the UJI Vice-Rectorate of Research and Transfer, and aims to develop innovative knowledge transfer models from Science Parks to Valencian Innovation System agents by considering digital paradigm tools and opportunities with companies’ involvement. This proposal considers implementing new methodologies, narratives and resources to optimise and reinforce the results obtained by scientific research, technological developed and innovation activities in Valencian Science Parks to cross-sectionally favour the gender perspective.
THE PROJECT FOCUSES ON THE INNOVATION OF COMMUNICATION PROCESSES TO FAVOUR TRANSFER
This project has a budget of €20,000 and centres on the innovation of communication processes as one of the basic strategic areas to favour transfer to the business fabric in order to enhance the competitiveness of the Valencian economy, and to also encourage citizen’s scientific culture. Innovative Transfer Models have been devised on two basic priority pillars: strategic communication and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).
The digital domain, ICT, sustainability and health are the priority areas for the UJI and the Smart Specialisation, Research and Innovation Strategy of the Generalitat Valenciana, known as RIS3. These areas also pose challenges globally and in the European Union in line with international agreements to face climate change, or the UN Agenda 2030 to promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
This project is promoted by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) of UJI’s Communication and Publications Services. It is financed by the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society by its revitalisation line of the Science Parks in this Spanish Autonomous Valencian Community.
