Espaitec received the Best Practice in Science and Technology Parks Award in the category of parks that are 10 years old or under from the Spanish National Assembly of Technology Parks (APTE). This award recognises the innovative parks management from Castellón through a varied, personalised offer of advanced services for the acceleration and growth of innovative companies.

The advanced services offered by espaitec, intended for its physically and virtually linked companies, emerged to offer solutions to requirements that are shared by the series of espaitec-linked companies, irrespectively of their sector and growth stage.

Espaitec offers 12 advanced services for helping business accelerate and grow. Among them, some stand out like e’capital to support and accompany searches for financing; e’innobridge to facilitate internationalisation; e’innowath, which centres on active monitoring technology; or e’joint for promoting comprehensive solutions through joint ventures that involve park-linked companies.

This award was collected by Juan Antonio Bertolín, Head of Espaitec’s Innovation and Projects, during the 12 International Spanish Science and Technology Parks Conference, held this week in Fuerteventura. With the motto “Gateway to Africa”, African and Spanish Parks have met on this island to encounter synergies and to open up lines of cooperation and technology transfer.

Along these lines, the encounter has helped Espaitec to start new forms of cooperation with African Science Parks, and special attention has been paid to countries in the Mediterranean region where espaitec is working in various projects.
