The Science and Technology Park Espaitec has visited the Fair and Congress Palace of Málaga to attend Transfiere, the 9th European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation. Its virtue is to be a professional multisector forum for transferring knowledge and technology that reflects some of the most important R&D&I actions performed today in Spain.

Transfiere promotes innovation between research groups and companies, and contributes to improve the business sector’s competitiveness by generating contacts and synergies to exchange knowledge.

Apart from attending Transfiere, David Cabedo, the deputy Vice-Rector of Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the UJI, also participated in the Executive Board meeting of APTE (the Spanish National Assembly of Technology Parks).

Espaitec worked on very important themes like the application and contribution of SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) in Spanish Science and Technology Parks.

Espaitec also participated in the Blockchain work group as it is currently working towards being one of the parks to use the Blockchain network among different Spanish Science and Technology Parks.

Another of its scheduled events was to participate in the General APTE Assembly to specify the association’s lines of action and goals for 2020, and to identify those milestones reached in 2019.
