In this edition, espaitec along with four of the Park’s companies, has three objectives. Firstly, to bring the R&I undertaken at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) closer to the business fabric of this province by promoting technology transfer to the market, and in and around cities. Secondly, make known initiatives like e'LivingLab, a project that focuses on open and collaborative innovation, developed on the UJI Riu Sec Campus. Third and finally, make known some of the solutions developed by espaitec-linked companies for smart cities. Sustainable innovation that contributes to improve the efficient management of urban services, and in line with Society’s Challenges as part of the 2020 Spanish and European Science and Innovation Strategies.
The espaitec Director of Innovation and Projects, Juan Antonio Bertolín, will be in charge of explaining Living Labs, the essence of Co-. A panel of companies will be presented to cover Smart Cities. Moderated by Paco Negre, the espaitec General Director, in this panel the following people will participate: Alejandro Vidal of the company Cuatroochenta, who will present apps to solve incidences between citizens and public administrations; Ignacio Llopis of IOTSens, who will present an all-round horizontal platform for Smart Cities; Enric Martí of Econectia, who will present mobility solutions; Ernesto Bedrina of Ceteck, who will inform about real-time solutions for smart businesses and 4.0. companies.
