On 10 June the Innovation and Technology Event: 1 Virtual Encounter will be held. It is organised by the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), and led by the Vice-Rectorate of Research and Transfer of the General UJI Foundation, the management organisation of Espaitec, the Science and Technology Park of the UJI. This will be a virtual transfer event between Espaitec firms and UJI research groups to explore joint collaboration possibilities.
This event will take the same format that proved successful in the towns of Sagunto and Vinaroz in 2019 but, on this occasion, it will be a virtual event to allow companies to hold bilateral meetings in private online rooms.
1 Virtual Encounter: Espaitec firms and UJI Research Groups
The Espaitec firms that will participate in this event undertake their innovative activity in different areas: blockchain, e-learning, social impact, Health Sciences, Industry 4.0 and nanotechnology. An analysis of the R&D requirements was firstly done to promote their competitiveness in their respective markets.
The knowledge area of the participating Research Groups lies in study fields like Marketing, Social Education, Industry 4.0, Optica, Photochemistry and Technology Applied to Building to respond to the requirements or concerns that companies might consider during previously scheduled 30-minute virtual meetings.
It is highlighted that this first virtual encounter has been designed in this new format to adapt to today’s health crisis circumstances, and takes place before the Innovation and Technology Event: 2 Virtual Encounter, to be held in October 2020 in the same virtual format, but will address firms throughout the province of Castellón and in the UJI’s area, such as the town of Sagunto.
The Innovation and Technology Event: 1 Virtual Encounter forms part of the Knowledge Transfer Antennae Project financed by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).
