The Cuatroochenta company that develops apps, based in espaitec, the Science, Technology and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), received the 2015 CEEI Castellón-IVACE Award in the «Business Development» category in acknowledgement of its work in «developing innovation and diversification in the business fabric of the area».

This company, located in the Spanish city of Castellón, received its award along with Traventia in the «Creating Companies» category. The runners-up were 42Tek and Textil Energy, all of which were announced in an event that was held on Thursday 17 September 2015 at the European Centre of Innovative Companies of Castellón with its Director, Justo Vellón, and the City Town Councillor of Promoting Economy and Employment, Patricia Puerta. The CEO of Cuatroochenta, Alfredo R. Cebrián, attended to receive the award.

One of the main reasons why the jury awarded Cuatroochenta was because it has steadily developed since it was set up in 2011, which has enabled it to grow, to go from five employees to more than thirty, and has strengthened its international expansion as it now has two Head Offices in Latin America (Panama and Colombia). Currently this company based in espaitec (UJI) is a reference in developing apps in Spain and Central America, and is characterised by its tailor-made solutions to improve working and mobility processes.
