The Belgian Prime Minister, Alexander de Croo, was in charge of handing this award
to I-care’s CEO.
The firm I-care, with headquarters in the Espaitec 2 building of the Espaitec Science and
Technology Park of the UJI, received the ‘Company of the Year 2020’ Award, the most
prestigious acknowledgement that any Belgian firm can receive.
The l’Entreprise de l’Année Awards are organised by the firm Ernst & Young, one of the
world’s most important consultancy firms, with the help of BNP Paribas Fortis and L’Echo.
This 25 th edition was attended to by the Belgian Prime Minister, Alexander de Croo, who
was in charge of handing the award to Fabrice Brion, I-care’s CEO.
This award, which is exclusively awarded for the business elite in Belgium, is selected by an
independent jury of specialists in charge of selecting that organisation highlighted for its
willingness to enterprise and innovate, but also for its sense of strategy and competence, its
projection in the world and, evidently, its exemplary management. “After all, this is an
acknowledgement of hard work and good team work”, stated Brion.
The Jury President, Laurent Levaux, explained that I-care, a supplier of services and a
technology leader, was awarded because it has registered 10 patents since the COVID-19
pandemic began and its annual growth continues at 35%, not only in Belgium, but also
internationally. Another stressed point was I-care’s vision to anticipate a requirement of
industrial firms.
I-care, a company that specialises in predictive maintenance and reliability, was set up in
Belgium 16 years ago. Today it employs more than 450 workers worldwide and is present in
15 countries, including Spain at the Science and Technology Park of the Universitat Jaume I
de Castellón.
I-care Reliability España is a company that specialises in predictive maintenance and
industrial reliability. It accompanies its industrial customers during their maintenance
digitisation process and evolution towards Industry 4.0. Its main aim is to help to design,
implement, integrate and maintain reliability strategies for its customers’ equipment, and is
committed to offer support during their Maintenance 4.0 transition. As a disruptive firm in
its sector, I-care has spent more than 10 years investing in R&D, which has allowed it to
develop and patent its own monitoring tools.
Nowadays, this company supervises some 67,000 million euros in equipment in very
different sectors like the heavy industry, pharmaceutical, agro-food, chemical or energy
industries.
