Samsung in Central America and Cuatroochenta Latam have reached an exclusive collaboration agreement to develop a new generation of apps that offer a service with high added value in internal processes and among companies in this region. This alliance marks the start of the development of various joint projects in B2B solutions, and also in rendering the services and products of both firms to customers and collaborators.

The area of action covered by this framework agreement between Cuatroochenta and Samsung, the largest technology company worldwide in annual sales terms, is Central American countries like Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador, where the multinational Korean company is well-established as world leader, and the Spanish company is starting out as a reference firm in the mobile phone sector. The new apps will bring to Samsung tablets and mobile phones all of Cuatroochenta’s programming and data management and analysis capacities.

So this agreement will allow to develop solutions and hardware integrations, as well as Samsung’s MDM (Mobile Device Management) in Central America with applications developed completely by Cuatroochenta to deal with requirements in fields like smart cities, medical settings, the banking sector, tourism, industry, the retail sector and logistics.

The framework agreement has been recently signed in Panama by the CEO of Cuatroochenta, Alfredo R. Cebrián, the general manager of Cuatroochenta Latam, César Tauste, and representatives of Samsung Central America. Among other aspects, the creation of a mixed committee formed by representative of both companies is contemplated, which would be in charge of studying and proposing specific projects and activities to be performed through specific agreements.
