Jury XVII Research Award from the Social Council in the research career modality has decided to grant the award, endowed with €6.000 and a diploma, to the Professor Rosa Llusar Barelles, professor at the Department of Physical and Analytical Chemistry at the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló. Dr. Llusar has developed her extensive research career in the Chemistry of Metal Clusters, with special emphasis on their physical-chemical properties for the development of new multifunctional molecular materials with applications of technological interest in catalysis, molecular electronics and medicine.

At the VIII Award for student entrepreneurship The jury has decided to award the award, worth €6.000 and a diploma, to José Jesús Domínguez Talamantes, graduated in Building Engineering from the Universitat Jaume I, from the company INOIBERICA, Interactive leisure engineering, technology-based company aimed at providing innovation and added value to the tourism sector, developing products that aim to generate more social and interactive leisure, so that new visitors are attracted and current visitors are loyal.

Finally, the jury of the VII Award for University Teaching Excellence, has decided to award the prizes, worth €2.000 and a diploma of recognition, to Irene Comins Mingol, PhD Contracted Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences; Sergio Barrachina Mir, Full University Professor of the Department of Engineering and Computer Science at the Higher School of Technology and Experimental Sciences; and Andrea Planchadell Gargallo, Professor of the Department of Public Law at the Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences.

The awards ceremony will take place on February 26, 2016, at the official ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the public university of Castelló.
