This morning, the Universitat Jaume I held the “Day of the Entrepreneur”, where the university's offer of entrepreneurship programs was presented.
La Universitat Jaume I has carried out, with a large influx of public, the «Day of the Entrepreneurial Person», a day that began at 11:00 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences. The morning session had main objective to promote entrepreneurship among the university community.
The event has been organized by podcast, and the INCREA Chair of Innovation, Creativity and Learning, entities promoting UJI Empren OnSocial, the business creation program aimed at the community (alumni, students, professors and administration and service staff). The opening of the day was carried out by the vice-rector for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination, david cabedo. He was accompanied at the table by the director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the UJI, Maria Luisa Flor and the director of Espaitec and manager of the General Foundation of the Jaume I University, Juan Antonio Bertolin.

The university has an itinerary that covers training in entrepreneurship, acquisition of softskills in innovation and aid for the creation of companies that later develop their business in the science park, Espaitec.. The vice-rector has stressed that "students who participate in these programs will then be able to access the certificate of entrepreneurial skills that the university has been issuing for several years now".
For its part, Maria Luisa Flor has exposed the support programs for entrepreneurs that the UJI currently offers, along with the financial aid for entrepreneurship that the university community can request. He has also highlighted the UJILab Innovation, an institutional program that promotes innovative projects of multidisciplinary teams led by students enrolled in any bachelor's or master's degree at the Universitat Jaume I. Currently, the following teams have been formed: UJI Motorsport, UJI-Hand, UJI Electric Racing Team y UJI Robotics Team.
Juan Antonio Bertolin has emphasized «the value of the entrepreneurship programs offered by the UJI to the entire university community, especially UJI Emprèn OnSocial, since they give the possibility of evolving from an idea to a concrete and viable business project», and has introduced the entrepreneurs invited to the conference, the CEO and co-founder of NARIAH, Kilian Zaragozá; and the scientific communicator and founder of Quantum Fracture, José Luis Crespo.

The day ended with the participation of the entrepreneur, youtuber and founder of Quantum Fracture, José Luis Crespo, who has shared his experience creating his scientific dissemination platform and how he innovatively applied his knowledge in physics in his startup.
