At Universitat Jaume I Thousands of students spend every year to build a bright future, studying degrees, postgraduate degrees or courses. The stories of four of those people who, after taking off from the UJI, have focused on academic or professional paths are the ones who star in our new campaign UJI Hero, a scientific and technological dissemination campaign aimed at primary and secondary school students that aims to turn scientists, entrepreneurs and alumni of our university into heroes and heroines.

Through UJI Hero, at Espaitec we want to create new professional models that serve as inspiration for future generations, awakening scientific, technological and entrepreneurial vocations. That is, contribute to scientists, professors, teachers, entrepreneurs, researchers and graduates of the Universitat Jaume I becoming the new idols for the young people of the province to imitate.

In collaboration with SAUJI Alumni and Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit of the Universitat Jaume I, Espaitec has identified a group of 8 researchers and former UJI students who, due to their professional career and connection to the Castellón university, have become the heroes and heroines of the project. For all of them we have created fictional characters supported by graphic material and videos made exclusively for the dissemination campaign.

With regards to UJI Hero teaching and research staff has had the collaboration of  Cristina González, Edgar Breso, Lledó Museros y Diego Monferrer. Due to her ability to research innovation, trends and technologies applied to communication to improve the relationship between brands and society, Cristina González has become Captain Advertising. The character played by Edgar Bresó has highlighted his experience promoting well-being and performance in organizations and his research projects in the field of occupational health, to make him Doctor Emotions. Lledó Museros is the heroine specialized in new technologies, her talent for investigating qualitative reasoning, robotics and her cognitive processes have turned her into Technical Witch. Finally, Diego Monferrer, winner of the University Teaching Excellence Award from the Social Council of the UJI and author of several books on marketing and sales management, has become an MBA Man.

To develop the characters of the heroes and heroines with a profile of former student has had the collaboration of Miguel Angel Royo, Meriem El Maaloumi, Elena Cucala  y Alex Rubio, they all have in common having completed their training at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón and currently have relevant professional positions. Miguel Ángel Royo heads the IT department of Grupo Gimeno and is a founding partner of the company IoTSens. Due to his ability to connect the physical world with the digital world using emerging technologies, he has become IoT Man. Meriem El Maaloumi is passionate about justice that in 2015 achieved the Extraordinary Final Prize for Law Degree from the Universitat Jaume I. Her extensive knowledge of commercial legislation to advise national and international companies has made her a Super Law Woman. Elena Cucala has the power to transform people so that they offer the most positive version of themselves. She has founded several companies related to talent identification and development, which is why she is an Ultra Coach. Finally, Alex Rubio's ability to use digital marketing to increase company performance has made him Digital Marketing Man, a hero who shares the knowledge acquired at the UJI by writing books and offering conferences and workshops around the world.

This dissemination action financed by the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana, also aims to present to local society the work carried out by the Universitat Jaume I, training professionals who are contributing to changing the world through the knowledge acquired at the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló.
