4TIC, Soluciones Cuatroochenta and Outcomes'10 are integrated into this transmedia project to adapt scientific dissemination to the new communication paradigm through ICT

Three Espaitec companies, the Scientific, Technological and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I, have been integrated into the transmedia scientific communication project #ÀgoraDigital, an initiative that aims to explore new narratives and promote participatory culture in scientific communication.

The founding partner of the company 4TIC, Nicolás Manero; the marketing director of Outcomes'10, Diana Manzanet; and Espaitec's communication technician, Esther Ramo, met this week with the person responsible for # ÀgoraDigital at Espaitec in order to design the objectives of her participation in this innovative initiative.

#ÀgoraDigital is the transmedia scientific communication project promoted by the Communication and Publications Service of the UJI, which has the support of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. The project was born with the desire to adapt scientific dissemination to the new communication paradigm promoted by the new ICT, a pioneering action in the field of Spanish public universities. The transition from the digital culture of hypertext to the concept of interactive multimedia is essential, with greater involvement of researchers in the dissemination of their work through the dynamization of content – ​​videos, podcasts, news – and participation through comments on blogs own and interaction on their network profiles. All this, maintaining strategic criteria of the UCC+i such as participation, the promotion of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) or gender equality in the promotion of scientific culture.

#ÀgoraDigital is a transmedia scientific communication project promoted from the UJI Communication and Publications Service, which is supported by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. This project came about given the willingness to adapt scientific diffusion to the new communication paradigm promoted by new ICTs, pioneering action in Spanish public universities.
