With three editions held in which 27 companies have participated, 49 jobs have been created and the average turnover of the participating companies has doubled, the Castellón Global Program A fourth edition full of new features will begin in April. These changes respond to the needs to adapt the program, even more, to the reality of the business fabric of the province of Castellón, focusing on innovation as an engine of growth.

News of the fourth edition

  • In the fourth edition, the program will focus on the growth of companies in the province of Castellón through innovation.
  • To encourage such innovation that allows growth, the program opens to new types of companies. Both recently created companies with an age of between one and five years and consolidated companies that seek innovation can participate, including companies between five and fifteen years of creation.
  • As a novelty in the 2016 edition, companies that participate in the program at the end must have a Personalized Acceleration Plan approved by the Program Management.
  • For the first time, the Provincial Strategy for the Promotion of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Economic Promotion also includes this year, within the Provincial Plan for the Promotion of Business Initiatives, workshops that affect the acceleration of projects.
  • The program will highlight the importance of the development of entrepreneurial skills for the success of the different projects that will participate in this edition of the call. For this reason, workshops have been designed aimed at defining specific, measurable and achievable objectives to advance the implementation of a business project, as well as for the efficient presentation of products.

Currently, the Provincial Council of Castelló and the Scientific, Technological and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I (espaitec) are finalizing the launch details, which will soon be published on the official website of the program www.castellonglobalprogram.com

Novelties in the fourth edition

  • The fourth edition of the program will focus on the growth of companies from the province of Castellón through innovation

  • To promote innovation that allows growth, the program opens up to new company types. Recently set up companies, those that have been operating for 1-5 years old, and well-established companies created 5-15 years ago and seek innovation can all participate

  • A novel aspect in the 2016 edition is that the companies which participate in the program should have a Personalized Acceleration Plan after this program, approved by the program's management

  • For the first time, this year the Provincial Promotional Strategy for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Economic Encouragement also includes workshops in the Provincial Business Initiatives Promotion Plan, which stress acceleration of projects

  • This program will underline the importance of entrepreneurial developing skills so that the different projects that participate in this edition will be successful. For this purpose, workshops have been designed to define specific measurable and achievable objectives to make progress in setting up a business project, and to efficiently present products

We are able to participate in both newly created companies with a history of between one and five years, as well as consolidated companies that encompass innovation, including companies between five and fifteen years of creation.
  • As new in the 2016 edition, companies participating in the program at the end will have to share both a Personalized Acceleration Plan and approved by the program management.
