From Espaitec, within the cycle Recicla't Espaitec, we organized a new workshop to respond to the challenges that companies face. On October 7th we will develop the workshop “Refinancing and restructuring strategies in times of crisis”. The training will have two main topics on commercial and labor law, and will be taught by professionals from the prestigious law firm Gómez Acebo & Pombo.
The current economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has had a strong impact on companies. Two of the main challenges that companies face in these periods are the loss of financing sources and the way to restructure human resources. With this online session we want to offer the business community of the province of Castellón the opportunity to expand knowledge about these important issues for the future of companies.
SESSION PROGRAM
The first part of the online workshop will be taught by Alicia Olaso, senior lawyer in the Commercial area and head of the Financial area at GA-P Valencia and Francisco Fita, managing partner of the GA-P Valencia office, both are specialists in business refinancing. The second part will be developed by Juan Antonio de Lanzas, responsible for the Labor area of GA-P Valencia.
In the first part they will present the financing and refinancing processes of companies. Firms are forced to make decisions such as refinancing their debt, in order to resolve specific liquidity problems. The objective of this part of the workshop is to Empower companies with the key issues and practices between different types of refinancing agreements with financial creditors, so that they are able to diagnose the state of the difficulties they face and conclude what type of agreement to restructure or renegotiate their debts is the most convenient, according to its implications and effects.
On the other hand, in the second part they will share the measures adopted during the health crisis regarding employment, its effects on labor relations and future forecasts of new measures. The objective is to provide participants with the necessary tools to adjust their workforce and activity to the new reality.
The free training will take place through the Zoom platform from 16.00:18.00 p.m. to 6:XNUMX p.m., and prior registration is mandatory before Tuesday, October XNUMX at the registration form, since places to attend the workshop are limited.
