What if my research work could be the beginning of creating a company?
Espaitec and Globalis Foundation in collaboration with the Universitat Jaume I, they organize next Monday, November 14, this free and practical workshop aimed at professors, PDI and research groups of the UJI with the aim of testing whether their thesis or research work can be exploited as a business idea and be the beginning for the creation of a company. During the workshop, which will take place from 09.00:13.00 to 1:XNUMX in the e'suc room of the espaitec XNUMX building, we will work collaboratively to analyze the market viability of the proposed ideas, in addition to presenting and publicizing the different tools. of support for its implementation that the UJI has.
The workshop will start with the welcome of Jesús Lanci and Paco Negre, Vice-rector for Innovation and Doctorate of the UJI and General Director of Espaitec, respectively. Below, the ideas promoted by UJI researchers and doctoral students will be presented to collaboratively analyze whether the research work developed can become a company. For this, feasibility analysis methodologies will be used, added value of the solution provided, market need to which it responds and minimum viable product to launch said project. The aim is to provide researchers with unique capabilities that help them face the challenges faced by society in general, from the professional world. The workshop will end with learning about all the tools that the UJI makes available to innovative entrepreneurs.
This workshop is part of a set of revitalization actions promoted by espaitec to promote the generation of innovative companies from the Universitat Jaume l. The action is sponsored by the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana.
