SECOT Castellón receives the "COPE Castellón Entrepreneurship Award"

COPE Castellón has recognized the Espaitec association for "its dedication and example of commitment, providing advice, support, and training" to entrepreneurs.

At the award ceremony, it was emphasized that "they are experience at the service of the future" and that SECOT Castellón advisors dedicate their time and knowledge through "personalized and close support, with a constant and transformative impact." The award presentation also highlighted the altruistic work of the association, which this year celebrates its 16th anniversary in our province. From 2020 to 2024, it was reflected in the creation of 206 companies and 271 jobs, through the 789 consultancies provided during that period by the entity's mentors.

Nuevo Impulso

In the first six months of 2025, 129 consultancies were provided and 14 new companies were launched, creating 15 jobs. The president of SECOT Castellón, Juan Jose MontoroUpon receiving the award, he stated that this recognition "represents a new impetus to continue actively collaborating with the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the business community of our province."

14 Winners and 2 Special Mentions

Fourteen categories and two special awards have made up the 15th COPE Castellón Awards which were presented at the Gran Casino de Castellón. They recognized individuals, groups, associations, entities, and companies that have stood out in different areas of provincial society over the past year. In addition to the distinction for SECOT Castellón, the following were also recognized: La Plana Group; Down Syndrome Association and Foundation; ANFFECC; Connecta Natura; Madeleine Hospital; Municipal Band of Castellón; Mediterranean Newspaper; Prayer of Catí to Sant Pere de Castellfort; The Llauradors; Jaume I Primary School in Castellón; Irene Vega, Dani and Ruth; Carla Escuder y Joel Mestre.

Finally, the Holy Christ of la Junquera de Xilxes y Font Air Conditioning have received special awards, given the circumstance that the founder of this last company, José Antonio Font, is an honorary member of SECOT Castellón.
