La Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV) summons the first edition of the rePCV awards. These awards have main objective to recognize the activity of entrepreneurial and business initiatives taking into account its growth, innovative nature, business strategy and contribution to the environment.
On the other hand since rePCV, it is also intended to contribute to the development and consolidation of companies created and developed, encourage and enhance the entrepreneurial spirit, and promote and strengthen University-Business relations within the scope of the five Valencian science parks.
The rePCV Awards are divided into three categories
- Spin-off Award: Aimed at companies, promoted by PDI, doctors or doctoral students, created from the exploitation of research results, and which are considered a spin-off by any of the Valencian public universities. These companies must be located or linked to any of the Valencian science parks.
- Start-up Award: Addressed to innovative companies, promoted by students or former students from any of the Valencian public universities. These companies must be located or linked to any of the Valencian science parks and established after January 1, 2015.
- Company – University Collaboration Award: Addressed to companies that participate with any of the Valencian public universities in R&D programs and/or projects whose results have contributed to establishing a close and continued relationship of collaboration, as well as to the development of the Valencian economy.
