ACTIVE PROJECT
Science and Technology in the Feminine is a project that encompasses a set of actions related to the dissemination of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) disciplines among the female student population at an early age (ESO). Espaitec participates together with other scientific and technological parks throughout Spain, under the coordination of the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE).
The main objective of this initiative is to promote science and technology to help reduce the gender gap that exists in these fields.
Among other activities, students who attend the conference have the opportunity to participate in talks with scientists, businesswomen and technologists from Espaitec's environment, visit exhibitions where they can learn about the work of prestigious scientists and technologists throughout history and which will culminate with examples of women belonging to the park itself or its environment, as well as participate in thematic workshops that may revolve around robotics, programming, chemical experiments, etc.
