Next Thursday, February 16, CEEI Castellón, in collaboration with Espaitec and the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, organizes the presentation day of the regional report of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). The GEM is a research observatory of the entrepreneurial phenomenon with an international vocation. Its objective is to capture entrepreneurial activity and the factors relating to it. To this end, it prepares annual reports at a global, national, regional and local level.

At the regional level, a team of researchers from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche celebrates 12 years developing an annual report that provides a perspective of evolution on:

  • Values, perceptions and entrepreneurial skills of the active population.
  • Entrepreneurial activity and its characteristics.
  • Context in which the entrepreneurial process develops

The event aimed at entrepreneurs and businessmen from the province of Castellón will also feature a brief talk given by Javier Mwgías on “5 pieces of advice you need to hear before starting a business”. The report will be presented by José María Gómez Gras, director of the report and professor of Business Organization at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH).

On Thursday 16 February, CEEI Castellón, in collaboration with espaitec and the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) in the city of Elche, will organize the presentation event of the Valencian Community Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Report. The GEM is an observatory research of the entrepreneurial phenomenon of international vocation. Its objective is to reflect entrepreneurial activity and its related factors. To this end, it prepared annual reports globally, nationally, regionally and locally.

In the Valencian Community (Spain), a team of researchers from the UMH of Elche has been preparing an annual report for 12 years which reflects the evolution of:

  • Values, perceptions and entrepreneurial attitudes of the working population

  • Entrepreneurial activity and its characteristics

  • The context in which the entrepreneurial process takes place

This event, which addresses and businesspeople from the province of Castellón, will also offer a brief talk by Javier Megías on “5 pieces of advice that you need to hear before entrepreneurship”. The GEM report will be presented by José María Gómez Gras, the director of the report and Professor of Business Administration at the UMH in Elche.
