Outcomes'10, a company located in Espaitec, is part of the SmartChronic project to incorporate artificial intelligence in the care of chronic patients financed by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI)
The technological firm Outcomes'10, installed in Espaitec, Parc, Científic i Tecnològic de la Jaume I University of Castelló, developed since the end of 2020 SmartChronic project to implement artificial intelligence in the healthcare of chronic patients. The project is led by the Mixed Unit in ICTs applied to the reengineering of socio-sanitary processes of l'Institut d'Investigació Sanitària Hospital La Fe de València, with the participation of nunsys, l'Institut d'Investigació Polibenestar of the University of Valencia i l'Institut Tecnològic d'Informàtica (ITI). The initiative includes the financing of The Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).
The main objective of the project It is to define and deploy integrated care itineraries for complex chronic patients who require long-term care. Contributes to the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system and improves the health and quality of life of people. For now he has developed a multidisciplinary action focused on the patient, which uses predictive analytics and non-invasive monitoring techniques to determine the degree of fragility of each individual; and optimize the medical care plans that each patient requires.
La artificial intelligence permetrà as professionals and healthcare managers have the capacity for optimization in the decision making process, improving the coordination, collaboration and integration of all the agents involved in the care of complex chronic patients.
The Outcomes'10 team, coordinated by Dr. Luis Lizán, analyzes and determines the most important aspects from the patients' point of view, which must be integrated into a predictive analysis; and follow-up and monitoring of chronic patients. The final results aim to integrate the essential aspects to evaluate the health status, such as the functional, psychological and social status of the patients, and validate it in clinical practice.
