Recruiting and retaining talent is a priority for innovative and technology-based companies. At the end of the 2016 financial year, the 20 companies installed in Espaitec employed 171 people, of which 75 were graduates from the Universitat Jaume I. During the past year, the physical companies in the park hosted a total of 74 interns, 39 of them through the Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE-UJI) and 35 through the Office of Professional Integration and Internships of the UJI (OIPEP). Furthermore, 53% of the new contracts carried out by Espaitec companies were graduates of the Universitat Jaume I.
These data, which increase significantly if we also consider companies linked virtually, show that the search for talent is a priority need for leading startups in the growth phase. Talent that in the case of technological profiles is difficult to identify and attract, since its placement rate is very high.
In order to put in contact the main agents involved in the process of identifying and hiring university talent, we have organized a new e'suc where we will have companies from Espaitec, those responsible for the OIPEP and internship coordinators for UJI computer science and related degrees.
The meeting will be next Wednesday, May 3 from 09.00:10.00 a.m. to 1:XNUMX a.m. at the Espaitec XNUMX Building facilities. An informal working breakfast where everyone can discuss the current challenges and opportunities in the identification and hiring of talent, as well as an opportunity to learn about the full range of services and news that the OIPEP makes available to Espaitec companies in this area. of personnel recruitment.
The event is exclusive for Espaitec companies, both physical and virtual, but requires prior registration in the following registration form.
