Laser-created nanoparticles

In this episode of InnoBar con B for Bar We explore how light can become an extremely precise manufacturing tool and how the laser technology lets create nanoparticles with completely new properties, capable of transforming sectors such as medicine, energy or the environment.

We address what it means to work at the nanoscale, why materials change their behavior when reduced to nano size, and what advantages laser manufacturing offers over other traditional processes, especially in terms of sustainability, control, and purity of materials.

Moderated by Juan Antonio Bertolin, director of Espaitec, the episode features the participation of Gladys MinguezProfessor of Optics at the Universitat Jaume I and member of GROC group, and Carlos Doñate, distinguished researcher at UJI and member of the GROC group.
