This Friday the doors ofthe Espaitec FabLab and the INIT, INAM and CIRTESU demonstrators

This Friday, Espaitec welcomed more than 60 people in its four most advanced technological innovation spaces, located on the university campus. People from Castellón's business community, as well as students and teaching and research staff from the UJI, participated. This event was part of the initiative APTE Innovation Spaces driven by Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain, which has been joined by 16 members.

During the session, attendees visited four infrastructures. Firstly, the Agitator Systems demonstrator of the Research Centre for Robotics and Underwater Technology (CIRTESU) The purpose of this project is to optimize the operation of water treatment plants through real tests carried out at the center's facilities.

Next, the Green Hydrogen demonstrator of the Advanced Materials University Institute (INAM) whose objective is to produce and store hydrogen from photovoltaic solar energy.

Furthermore, the Espaitec FabLab, the digital manufacturing workshop equipped with tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters or CNC milling machines that allow the creation of prototypes and production of objects on a small scale, encouraging innovation, experimentation and practical learning in a collaborative environment.

Finally, the demonstrator of the University Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT) is an environment where virtual and augmented reality are used as tools for practical learning. It consists of six spaces whose service can be applied to sectors such as medicine, industry, education or sports, among others.
