On December 11, the award ceremony took place. II rePCV Awards, organized by the five Valencian science parks. The event, held in online format, was inaugurated by the president of the Valencian Science Parks Network (rePCV), Salvador Coll, and the vice president of the institution, david cabedo.

Coll emphasized, «the activity based on knowledge, disruptive technology, innovation that companies linked to the Valencian science parks are developing is a key vector for the future sustainability of the well-being society». Cabedo stressed that «The rePCV Awards are a joint work effort of the Valencian parks to encourage collaborative work between companies linked to the parks, and thus have the opportunity to interact, get to know each other and become visible within the innovative ecosystem».

The second edition of these awards, promoted by the parks' managing entities (Fundació Parc Científic Universitat de València, Polytechnic City of Innovation Foundation, Alicante Science Park Foundation, Miguel Hernández Universitas Foundation y General Foundation of the Jaume I University), they awarded three entrepreneurial and business initiatives based on their growth, innovative nature, business strategy and contribution to the environment.

El Spin-Off Award was awarded to VLC Photonics (Polytechnic City of Innovation Foundation); the Start-Up Award was awarded to Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence (Fundació Parc Científic of the University of Valencia); and the Company-University Collaboration Award was awarded to UBE Corporation Europe (General Foundation of the Universitat Jaume I-ESPAITEC/Fundació Parc Científic of the Universitat de València). Second prizes in each category were also awarded to companies. Fent Innovative Software Solutions y WonderBits (Polytechnic City of Innovation Foundation); Applynano Solutions (Alicante Science Park Foundation); I-care Group y Semanticbots (General Foundation of the Universitat Jaume I-ESPAITEC).

The Valencian Science Parks Network Awards (rePCV) have been aimed at the ecosystem of more than 250 companies installed or linked to the five Valencian science parks, characterized by being based on knowledge and their commitment to collaboration with university research, and have had the support of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).

The second edition of the rePCV Awards has had the main objective of continuing to recognize the contribution to the development and consolidation of companies created and developed with the support of the five Valencian science parks; supporting and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in the five Valencian science parks; and promoting and strengthening university-business relationships.
