At the annual meeting of the rePCV, the directors and representatives of the entity will elect Juan Antonio Bertolín, director of Espaitec, as president, replacing David Cabedo, current vice-rector of Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination of the University Jaume I of Castelló

On July 13th the annual meeting of the Xarxa of Valencian Scientific Parks (rePCV) in the Espaitec facilities. Directius and representatives of the five scientific parks linked to Valencian public universities (Espaitec, Scientific and Technological Park of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló, Scientific Park of the University of Valencia, Polytechnic City of Innovation of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Scientific Park of the University of Alicante, Miguel Hernández d'Elx University Science Park) is going to make an appointment in the Castellón capital to elect a new president, present the 2021 entity's Committees, address the situation of the activities carried out by the different managers, and reflect on the projects planned to be developed in the next year.

In relation to the organizational structure of the rePCV, during the meeting The Board of Directors is going to be renewed, the presidency of which continues per segon any to the scientific park of the Universitat Jaume I. The title of president of the region is held by Juan Antonio Bertolín, manager of the General Foundation of the Jaume I University The director of Espaitec, during the period 2022-2023, will replace david cabedo, current vice-rector of Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination of the Universitat Jaume I. Juan Jose Borras, director of the Science Park of the University of Valencia, continues as vice president; and with the secretary she will continue acting as the director and manager of the Science Park of the Miguel Hernández d'Elx University, Tonia Salinas. On the other hand, complete the rePCV meeting, with members, Juan Vicente Capella, director and manager of the Polytechnic City of Innovation, Scientific Park of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, i Esteban Pelayo, director of the Scientific Park of the University of Alicante.

At the annual meeting, I start from the visit of the Autonomous Secretary of Universities, Carmen Bevià, to each of the parks that are part of the rePCV, there is also a debate on the new projects that the managing entities will present to upcoming calls, always with a focus on dynamization, promotion and dissemination of the innovation generated in the corresponding innovative ecosystems. On the other hand, it is going to pose in value the convergence of the projects duts to terme with the support of The Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI), like the case of l'Innotransfer, a crucial initiative to enhance the relationship between the business sector and institutions that generate connections, especially universities, and improve the competitiveness of companies, especially in the current economic and social situation.

The rePCV with Inndromeda and OSICV

It should be noted that each park has proposed various projects in its respective territories, to facilitate the incorporation of innovation into products and services in the Valencian business ecosystem, which are redundant in the georeference of the Valencian region, in front also, in the R+D+i aspects. An example is the incorporation of the Xarxa de Parcs Científics Valencians (rePCV) to Inndromeda, the alliance between the competency centers and the business community, in which the Business Confederation of the Valencian Community (CEV), the centers of Consell Superior d'Investigacions Científiques (CSIC) in the Valencian Community, the Xarxa of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community (REDIT) and the six eleven centers associated, the universities and the Valencian generalitat.

The song concludes with the presentation of theObservatori de Symbiosi Industrial de la Comunitat Valenciana (OSICV), project driven by him'Institut Valencià de Competitivitat Empresarial (IVACE) for the promotion and development of industrial symbiosis solutions between Valencian companies, to which the rePCV has recently been incorporated. La Xarxa of Valencian Scientific Parks (rePCV) It brings together the five scientific parks of the Valencian public universities: Espaitec, Scientific and Technological Park of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló, Scientific Park of the University of Valencia, Polytechnic City of Innovation of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Scientific Park of the Universitat d'Alacant, Fundació Universitas Miguel Hernández d'Elx. Between them they form an ecosystem of more than 250 companies installed or linked to the five Valencian scientific parks, characterized by being based on the connection and their commitment to collaboration with university research.

The rePCV is intended to be an instrument per promote the competitiveness of companies and institutions generating knowledge, facilities or associations with scientific parks, promoting diversification and the creation of a new business and industrial team, of quality, differentiation and commitment to social responsibility policies. It also includes continuous collaboration between the five members of the entity to increase the wealth of the region and promote the culture of innovation.
