The UJI university community with an entrepreneurial idea will be able to register for the program free of charge until October 23

Registration open for the 8th edition of UJIStartup, a program of the Vice-Rectorate for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination of the Universitat Jaume I managed by Espaitec and the Chair of Innovation, Creativity and Learning (INCREA)This business creation programme is aimed at people from the UJI university community who wish to boost their entrepreneurial project, offering them mentoring and free training to accelerate their ideas and turn them into viable projects that can be launched on the market.

From November to May, participants will receive theoretical and practical training provided by professionals and mentoring from SECOT (Spanish Seniors for Technical Cooperation) in order to develop their entrepreneurial initiatives. In addition, key aspects such as the validation of ideas, the identification of problems and the analysis of the impact of the project will be addressed.

How to participate in the 8th edition of UJIStartup

To participate in UJIStartup You must be a student or staff member of the UJI or have completed studies at this institution in the last 8 years. In addition, you must prove basic training in entrepreneurship; if you do not prove it, you will be offered the possibility of taking the Bootcamp for Entrepreneurship on November 6, 7 and 8 in order to acquire the necessary basic knowledge.

The registration period is open until October 23 and the proposals will be evaluated to select 25 projects. This initiative has the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment.
