Greenflight
GreenFlight is a start up that uses unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to preserve forests, or in the case of areas degraded by fires, waste dumps or proliferation of pests, to help recover them. The project, promoted by Joan Esteban Altabella, Technical Architect and Doctor in Industrial Technologies and Materials from the Universitat Jaume I, offers preventive and corrective services related to forest preservation.
In the preventive part, it carries out reconnaissance flights to map the territory differentiating, by plots, areas at risk of degradation. This aspect also offers a service focused on surveillance of tourist concentration points and another in the execution of forestry actions with georadar indications. The corrective part focuses on recovering the areas degraded by fires, proliferation of pests or by the illegal dumping of waste through the dispersal of pre-germinated seeds, point-by-point fumigation and indication by georadar of the areas on which intervention must be made.
