Recognize and reward the activity of entrepreneurial and business initiatives based on their growth, innovative nature, business strategy and contribution to the environment. This is the objective of the awards organized by the Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV), of which the podcast is part. Companies interested in participating can send their application until December 5 through the website of the rePCV
This call has a total of three categories: «Spin-Off Award», «Start-Up Award» y «Prizes for Business-University collaboration». In the first of them, the aim is to recognize companies promoted by Teaching and Research Personnel (PDI), doctors or doctoral students that have been created from the exploitation of research results and that are linked to any of the Valencian science parks. .
For its part, the category «Spin-Off Award» It is aimed at innovative companies promoted by students or alumni of any of the Valencian public universities. These companies must be located or linked to any of the Valencian science parks and be established after January 1, 2018. Likewise, the «Prizes for Business-University collaboration» It is aimed at companies that participate with any of the Valencian public universities in R&D programs and/or projects whose results have contributed to establishing a close and continued relationship of collaboration, as well as to the development of the Valencian economy.
With these awards, the rePCV seeks to contribute to the development and consolidation of companies created and developed with the support of the five Valencian science parks. Also promote and enhance the entrepreneurial spirit in the area of the five Valencian science parks and promote and strengthen University-Business relations.
La Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV) is an entity formed by Espaitec, the Scientific and Technological Park of the Jaume I University, the Scientific Park of the Miguel Hernández University, the Scientific Park of the University of Valencia, the Polytechnic City of Innovation-Polytechnic University of Valencia, and by the Alicante Science Park-University of Alicante. The objective of the rePCV is to increase the wealth of the region, promote the culture of innovation and foster the competitiveness of companies and knowledge-generating institutions installed in or associated with science parks. Also, promote the diversification and growth of a new business and industrial fabric, quality, differentiated and committed to social responsibility policies.
