Valuing the group's research results, one of the objectives of this spin-off participated by the University of Castellón.
Energy Apps was born in 2014 with the purpose of designing, developing and marketing equipment and applications for controlling electrical consumption in homes and other commercial and industrial facilities. This company develops devices and systems that allow remote measurement and monitoring of energy consumption of any type and implementation of energy management systems. With the solutions developed by Energy Apps, any type of organization can carry out detailed control of its consumption and evaluate different energy saving alternatives in a simple and realistic way.
«Our company was born from the idea that it is increasingly important, for economic and environmental reasons, to make efficient use of energy and for this it is necessary to measure and control the different consumption, whether in industry, in buildings for public or in the domestic sector," says Enrique Belenguer, professor of Electrical Engineering at the Universitat Jaume I and partner of the company. "Being a technology-based company promoted by the Universitat Jaume I, the link with Espaitec arises naturally to receive support in the valorization and commercialization of research results," concludes Belenguer.
