Conference organized by espaitec, the Department of Education of the UJI and Cefire Castellón to promote innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial initiative in the classrooms of the province.

El UJI Scientific, Technological and Business Park (espaitec), in collaboration with the Department of Education of the Universitat Jaume I y Cefire Castellón Next Tuesday, October 25, they organize the free day “Innovation and school success: the contagion effect.” The event will take place from 17.30:20.30 p.m. to 1006:XNUMX p.m. in room JBXNUMX of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón.

Aimed at active teachers and teaching students at the Universitat Jaume I, as well as the general public interested in entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity in the educational field, the event on the 25th will feature the presentation “The 5 keys of entrepreneurial competence: opening doors to the future”, given by César García Rincón. With a Santillana Prize for Education in Values ​​and extensive experience in the educational environment, César will talk about how to educate the entrepreneurial spirit from school through new teaching-learning methodologies and competency designs.

The 5 keys of entrepreneurial competence are actually the five dimensions that define said competence, 5 dimensions that can be brought to the classroom from the different competence performances, indicators or learning standards that make up each dimension. Thus, during the conference the following areas will be worked on: creativity, contacts, motivation, communication and humanism. After the conference by César García Rincón Real cases of innovative educational projects carried out in centers in the province of Castellón will be presented.. Real examples taught throughout the students' learning cycle, from kindergarten to university, through primary and secondary school.

These real cases will be the basis of the workshops of a second session that will take place on Tuesday, November 15 in the classrooms of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the UJI. Those attending the first day linked to education, both active teachers and UJI students, must register for one of these workshops where they will learn the methodologies implemented. Attendance at the workshops will be mandatory for UJI teaching students and for teachers who want to obtain a Cefire certification. Finally, on November 29 there will be a third day exclusively for active teachers, to whom the information will be sent personally.
