The meeting organized by the Office of Cooperation in Research and Technological Development and the General Foundation of the UJI is part of the cycle of conferences S2B & B2S Transfer 2017 to promote the transfer of technology and knowledge.
The objective of the challenges-collaboration call is to support cooperative projects between companies and research organizations, in order to promote the development of new technologies, the business application of new ideas and techniques, and contribute to the creation of new products. and services. These are consortium projects, with objectives close to the market and capable of generating marketable results. Due to their design, they are adjusted to the business strategy when it requires the assistance of a University or research organizations, allowing the establishment of fruitful alliances and collaborations accompanied by interesting economic incentives.
The Universitat Jaume I has actively participated in this type of project in previous calls, having accumulated extensive experience and some important successes. Specifically, since the first call in 2010, it has executed 22 projects for an amount of 4 million euros.
On this day we will have first-hand information through representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the report of a specific experience corresponding to the 2016 call. All of this will help to understand the call in depth, resolve doubts, identify good practices and improve the project assembly strategy.
