Marketing and the media are the sectors in which virtual reality and augmented reality have most widely deployed their commercial applicability. But its use is increasingly receiving greater impetus in sectors such as education, training, health, industry and robotics, where a notable development is expected that will give rise to interesting and innovative products and services in the coming years.

The objective of the conference is to show the offer of technologies in the field of virtual and augmented reality developed and marketed on the one hand by the research groups of the Universitat Jaume I, through the generation of virtual and augmented reality environments in very diverse applications such as, for example, smart cities, serious games, clinical psychology and robotics, and on the other hand by companies linked to Espaitec in sectors such as architecture, gastromarketing, tourism or leisure.

This initiative, open to the entire Castellón university community and business community interested in virtual reality and augmented reality, aims to identify and facilitate knowledge and technology transfer processes between UJI research groups and companies linked to the Espaitec ecosystem. as well as making the business community of the province of Castellón aware of the trends, developments and research in both high-tech fields.

This free event will take place on Tuesday, September 19 at 10.00:2 a.m. in the multipurpose room of the Espaitec XNUMX building, prior registration is mandatory through the following registration form. This initiative, which is open to the whole university community and the business fabric of Castellón interested in virtual and augmented reality, and intends to identify and facilitate processes to transfer knowledge and technology among UJI research groups and the companies linked to the espaitec ecosystem, and to make known the trends, novelties and research to the business fabric in the province of Castellón in both technology types.

This event will be free of charge and will take place on Tuesday 19 September at 10:00h in the Multiple Purpose Hall in the espaitec 2 building.
