The initiative has celebrated its fourth edition and is consolidating itself as a reference space where we can debate and reflect on innovation models adopted by leading companies.
podcast, In collaboration with Castelló Provincial Council, organized this Tuesday the fourth edition of Innovatossals (Innovating with Tombatossals), a day aimed at executives from the province of Castellón where professionals from Intel, PixelsHub, Warner Bros. Discovery y NTT DATA They have shared the innovation strategies that their companies are developing. In this sense, Innovatossals is consolidated as an exclusive reference space where the business community of the province debates and reflects on innovation models adopted by leading companies.
The meeting was moderated by the journalist Marta Fullera and inaugurated by david cabedo, vice-rector of Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination of the Universitat Jaume I, who has been accompanied at the table by Mª Ángeles Pallarés, first vice president of the Castelló Provincial Council.
The vice president of the Provincial Council has indicated that "this day, as you know, is part of the Castellón Global Program, promoted by the Castellón Provincial Council and Espaitec. This year celebrates 11 years helping companies in the province of Castellón grow through innovation and strategic planning. 96 companies from 32 different municipalities and 17 different sectors of activity endorse the trajectory of this initiative and, from the Provincial Council, we will continue to co-finance this program.
For his part, the vice-rector highlighted that "the conference is another example of the purpose of the Universitat Jaume I regarding the promotion of innovation and the transfer of knowledge to the business community. It seeks to contribute to improving the competitiveness of our business fabric in order to respond to an environment of constant changes, both in the technological field and in the habits of citizens. Only through innovation will companies be able to adapt to this environment."
As for the participating companies, the first presentation was given by Jorge Lang, Innovation & Solutions Partners Director (retired) of Intel and, currently, collaborator in the development of semiconductors in Madrid through PERTE semiconductors. During his speech, Lang highlighted that, to foster innovative technologies, it is crucial to understand the root of innovation, which is found in the underlying semiconductors that drive it. Additionally, organizations must align company culture, adapt technological innovation, and challenge established rules.
Next it was the turn of Susana PascualCEO PixelsHub, who has assured that innovation implies having objectives defined by a strategy, and both elements must be delimited in time. "Companies must also take into account that we must not only seek maximum profitability, but also that the innovations we implement generate the minimum impact and are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals," said Pascual.
The day continued with the intervention of Alejandro Pérez, Senior Digital Analytics and Insights manager at Warner Bros. Discovery, where the speaker has presented the new applications in innovation and disruptive business models that are being developed by his organization in the field of media and entertainment. Likewise, he has also defined the possible impacts that generative artificial intelligence can have on the commercial and operational activities of his sector.
The cycle of presentations has ended with the intervention of Javier Val, Director, Salesforce Enterprise & Cloud Solutions and Assets Initiative NTT DATA, who has presented the technology Syntphony, a company platform that combines different assets based on customer needs to quickly build diverse and specialized solutions, adapted to transversal or vertical markets.
At the end of the conference panel, a debate table was opened where speakers and participants reflected on issues discussed during the day. The event has been closed by Juan Antonio Bertolin, director of podcast, who has highlighted the relevance of Innovatossals to bring and share reflections on innovation to the business fabric of the province.
