In the field of sustainable habitat, the open innovation program Innotransfer has launched, in this third edition of 2021, a series of specific webinars on various approaches in sectors related to habitat. These technical meetings have sought give visibility to innovation opportunities, detected by Espaitec, in different areas of habitat and sustainability. Special attention has been paid to the lines established by the Strategic Innovation Committee Specialized in Sustainable Habitat of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).

On Wednesday November 10th, from 9.30:11.30 a.m. to 2021:XNUMX a.m., the third webinar of XNUMX will take place, «Sustainable Habitat: Energy Efficiency in Housing», where speakers related to sustainable design and architecture will reflect on energy efficiency in homes, and research groups and technological institutes will present new developments to implement solutions in this field. During the webinar we will delve into the improved integration of changing user demands and needs, both buildings and homes. For it Several innovation projects applied by companies in the sector will be presented, which have led to business success stories. Leading companies in sustainability and energy efficiency will be the protagonists of posing new challenges for the sustainable habitat industry.

The virtual session will be inaugurated by Jesus Lancis, vice-rector for Research and Transfer of the Universitat Jaume I, and Andrés García Reche, executive vice president of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI). They will participate as speakers Juan A. INNOTRANSFER

Innotransfer is a multi-sector open innovation and collective management initiative which aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology, developed by the scientific and technological parks of the Valencian Community, to the business ecosystem of our territory in key economic sectors such as Sustainable Habitat; Agri-food; Sustainable Mobility and Automotive; Enabling Technologies; Health; Infrastructure, and Smart Tourism.

The main business associations, Valencian public universities and network of REDIT Technological Institutes participate in the Innotransfer forum, which is funded by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI). This initiative aims to promote dialogue between researchers and companies in the Valencian Community through the catalytic action of the intermediate structures of the public-private research ecosystem and the Valencian business ecosystem.
