On September 8, the second webinar of Innotransfer dedicated to the field of smart homes in the sustainable habitat sector, coordinated by Espaitec, promoted by the Network of Valencian Science Parks (repCV) with the collaboration of Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI)

In the field of sustainable habitat, the open innovation program Innotransfer launches, in this third edition of 2021, a series of specific webinars on various approaches in the sectors related to this habitat. These technical meetings aim to give visibility to innovation opportunities, detected by podcast, in different areas of habitat and sustainability, such as clean energy in construction, smart homes, as well as design and sustainable architecture, paying special attention to the lines established by the Strategic Innovation Committee Specialized in Sustainable Habitat of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).

On September 8, from 9.30:11.30 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX a.m., the second of the three scheduled webinars will be held, «Sustainable Habitat: Smart Homes»Where The development and integration of sensorization, monitoring and management analysis systems, and data in parameters will be explored in depth. such as, the energy and water consumption, air quality and comfort in the sustainable habitat environment. Likewise, it seeks to delve into the improvement in the integration of the changing demands and needs of users of buildings and homes. For this, projects in applied innovation will be presented as a success in business growth; and companies, technological institutes and research groups will present new developments to implement solutions in the field of sustainable habitat.

The virtual session will be inaugurated by Jesus Lancis, vice-rector for Research and Transfer of the Universitat Jaume I, and Andrés García, executive vice president of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI). They will participate as speakers Juan Antonio Bertolin, Manager General Foundation of the UJI and director of Espaitec; Ricard Bou, Director of Strategic Projects Nayar Systems, company awarded by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain across SME Awards 2019 for its commitment to innovation and digitalization; Oscar Belmonte, member of the research group Research Group on Machine Learning for Smart Environments (GIANT); Jorge Moreno, head of the Smart Textiles and Digitalization research group at Textile Technological Institute (AITEX); Diana Castellano, responsible for Innovation and Marketing at Koo International, a firm that participates in the Innovation through Design (PID) and will be part of Valencia World Capital of Design 2022, and José Luis Aleixandre, technical director of Gamadecor, award-winning company IF Design Award 2020 and signature of Porcelanosa Group.

The virtual event will serve as a day of revitalization and reflection, it will revolve around the theme of the smart home sector and the most avant-garde innovations in the sector and its applications. In the webinar the platform of challenges on sustainable habitat will be promoted, where companies and entities of the Valencian Community will be able to raise the specific challenges they face in the field of sustainable habitat and so that the research staff of the Valencian public universities can provide solutions to these challenges and needs; promoting cooperation between the scientific and industrial fields, facilitating contact and knowledge of the parties through a challenge-solution dynamic.

INNOTRANSFER

Innotransfer is a multi-sector initiative of open innovation and collective management that aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology, developed by the scientific and technological parks of the Valencian Community, to the business ecosystem of our territory in key economic sectors such as Automotive and Sustainable Mobility, Agri-food, Sustainable Habitat, Health y Enabling Technologies.

The main business associations, the Valencian public universities and the network of REDIT Technological Institutes participate in the Innotransfer forum, which is funded by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).
