Actualpacs during Covid-19
The Castellón technology company has collaborated with the Telmed platform, created by the Telmed Foundation along with Actualmed, Dicomnet Solutions, Delta Telediagnosis, Mammotest, and with the collaboration of CEMIC y DMR Medical Diagnosis Reconquista, offering free Actualpacs to streamline diagnostic processes; as well as to give radiologists the possibility of working in simultaneous collaboration at an international level.
The teleradiology service Telmed has been available in five countries in Europe and South America (Spain, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela), with more than 200 specialist doctors registered, and has helped expedite more than 43.000 cases of Covid-19. The use of teleradiology as a reinforcement of PCR tests and rapid Covid-19 tests has allowed diagnoses to be much faster and safer, relying on certain radiological studies, such as chest films and lung CT studies.
