La REVIEWS, the CDTI and the IVACE have presented the main subsidies for business innovation
During the day “Main public financing instruments for innovative companies” held this morning in Espaitec, the main public agents supporting innovation have presented the most outstanding lines of subsidies to promote innovation among the provincial business community.
The day has been presented by david cabedo, Deputy Vice-Rector for Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Universitat Jaume I, and Juan Antonio Bertolín, Manager of the General Foundation of the Jaume I University and Director of Espaitec. Both have highlighted the importance of these financing instruments to promote innovation, encouraging attendees to present projects in the different existing lines. They have also encouraged collaboration between companies and university research groups to present cooperative projects, thus promoting the transfer of knowledge and technology.
IVACE Subsidies
Javier Minguez, Head of the Business and Associations Areaof the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), presented during his speech the “IVACE R&D and business innovation plan”, which includes aid such as the following:
- Createc for small innovative and technology-based companies
- PIDI that promotes industrial research and individual experimental development in SMEs
- Digitize, a financing program to support the implementation of innovative solutions aimed at digitizing SMEs
- Pidcop for industrial research and experimental development in cooperation,
- InnovaProD that supports the development and manufacturing of new products or the significant improvement of those already manufactured.
CDTI Grants
Maria Jose Tomas, Technician of the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), has announced the main lines of financing that the CDTI makes available to large companies, SMEs, R&I organizations, universities and technology centers. In his speech he highlighted that during 2019 the CDTI mobilized 1.415 million euros for R&D&I, supporting more than 1.500 R&D&I projects nationwide. Among the aid presented, programs to support individual R&D projects or national and international cooperation stand out. Also support lines such as Neote or Innvierte, and programs to promote innovative public purchasing or transfer.
AVI Grants
Yolanda Cárcel, Head of the Public Sector Innovation and Innovative Public Procurement Service of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI), has presented the set of AVI lines for the strengthening of the productive fabric of the Valencian Community, which includes six key strategic lines:
- Valuation of research results and their transfer to companies
- Talent promotion
- Promotion of innovative public procurement (CPI)
- strategic projects in cooperation
- Consolidation of the business value chain and complementary impulse actions
- Strengthening innovation.
