The workshop was held in six sessions with the aim of training the university community in the construction, programming and piloting of drones.
Espaitec, through its FabLab, has concluded a new edition of the "Build Your Hexacopter Drone" course. Over six sessions, ten members of the Universitat Jaume I community participated in this free activity aimed at promoting technological skills applied to drone design and assembly.
The course was taught by Victor Gonzalez, representative of the company ALVOL, along with Joan Estruch, a technician at Espaitec's Fab Lab. Participants learned how to assemble each component of the drone and configure its electronics. They also programmed its operation and put their knowledge into practice through controlled flights.
Espaitec FabLab
Espaitec's FabLab is a space for experimentation and rapid prototyping, equipped with 3D printing machines, laser cutters, CNC milling machines, and other tools. This lab regularly offers free courses aimed at the university community to introduce digital manufacturing.
This initiative has the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment.
