The event will be held on December 12th in the Multipurpose Room of the Espaitec 2 building and will include presentations, dialogue and personalized guidance sessions.

Espaitec celebrates a new edition of « on December 12thFemSTEM: Women in Technology", a day aimed at highlighting the role of women in science, technology and innovation and promoting STEM vocations among students of the Universitat Jaume I.

The meeting will take place from 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be moderated by the journalist. Andrea Jarque, journalist for Radio Castellón Cadena SER. The event is part of the Technological Map of the Province of Castellón, an initiative promoted by Espaitec to connect the productive fabric with university talent.

The program will begin with an institutional welcome by Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Vice-Rectorate for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination of the UJI.

Next, a panel discussion will take place with five women in STEM who will share their professional experience and career paths in different technological and industrial fields. Therefore, the following will participate: Clara Serrano, data analyst at DQS Consulting; Yolanda Reig Otero, general director of Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC-AICE); Rosario Arnau, project manager at Hydrens, and Patricia Negro, responsible for the Technological Development area in SITRA Industrial Water.

After a period of questions and comments, the Espaitec project technician Beatriz Martinez She will explain the dynamics of the final speed-dating, a personalized orientation space where students can have individual meetings with the speakers to resolve doubts about training, career paths and employability in the STEM field.
