Espaitec organizes the “Innotransfer Ports of the Future: Electrification and Innovation in Action” conference on Thursday, November 16, in a hybrid format, aimed at the business community of the Valencian Community 

podcast will hold a new edition of the forum Innotransfer, on November 16 from 9.00:12.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., in hybrid format, dedicated to the Valencian seaports, where the emerging technologies, challenges and innovative solutions that are shaping the port industry. From systems power management, charging infrastructure for electric boats, even solutions use of digital twins and artificial intelligence to control the dispersion of contaminants. In the session, in which the Port Authority of Castelló, Port Authority of Valencia and Alicante Port Authority, together with research group companies, constitutes an excellent opportunity for interaction and collaboration between port industry leaders, technical experts, and applied research groups.

The world is currently evolving rapidly, and the transition towards electrification and the adoption of innovative technologies is imperative to ensure sustainability and efficiency in the port sector. The event aims to be the epicenter of critical discussions, knowledge sharing and exploration of emerging business solutions in this space. All this from the perspective of the Specialized Strategic Innovation Committees (CEIE) of Valencian Agency for Innovation (AVI).

In the day Innotransfer Specific development proposals will be defined with the aim of, through research, innovation and knowledge transfer, offering answers to each of the identified challenges. The session of November 16th can be followed in person from the Espaitec 2 Multipurpose Room, and through Zoom at 9.00:XNUMX a.m., being the registration mandatory prior.

Finally, after the event, there will be a space for networking between the entities, companies and research groups attending. The day is organized by Espaitec with the collaboration PortCastello and Smart Ports Chair, promoted by the Network of Valencian Science Parks (REPCV), and has the support of the Valencian Agency for Innovation (AVI).

Innotransfer is a multi-sector initiative of open innovation and collective management that aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology, developed by the scientific and technological parks of the Valencian Community, to the business ecosystem of our territory in key economic sectors such as Sustainable Habitat; Agri-food; Sustainable Mobility and Automotive; Enabling Technologies; Health; Infrastructures; and Smart Tourism.

The main business associations, Valencian public universities and the network of REDIT Technological Institutes participate in the Innotransfer forum, which is coordinated by the Valencian Science Parks Network (REPCV) and financed by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI). This initiative aims to promote dialogue between researchers and companies in the Valencian Community through the catalytic action of the intermediate structures of the public-private research ecosystem and the Valencian business ecosystem.
