Representatives of IVACE, CDTI and AEI have announced their aid programs to promote innovation, and entities that have been beneficiaries have shared the advantages they offer
Espaitec held the event this Thursday «Public Financing for Innovative Companies» in order to inform the business community of Castellón and research personnel about the public aid that they can apply for in 2024 to develop innovative initiatives.
Participating in the day wereCenter for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI),Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE)and State Research Agency (AEI), dependent on Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Likewise, companies have participated 720Tec y Arkadia Space to detail your experience in obtaining this type of aid.
The day was inaugurated by the vice-rector for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination of the Universitat Jaume I, david cabedo, and the director of Espaitec and manager of the General Foundation of the UJI, Juan Antonio Bertolin, who have encouraged entities to consider public financing options as a means to carry out innovative projects that would be unviable without public financial support.
IVACE
The head of the IVACE Companies and Associations Area, Javier Minguez, opened the session by presenting the IVACE Business R&D&i Plan for 2024 whose objective is to finance R&D, innovation and digitalization projects for SMEs. Thus, the program has highlighted I asked, for carrying out R&D projects in SMEs; Pidcop, for industrial research projects or experimental development in cooperation between several companies, and Innovate, to promote business innovation.
CDTI
Next it was the turn of the technician from the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation of the CDTI, Maria Jose Tomas, who has presented his entity's innovation and research financing line. Thus, he has highlighted several calls currently open: on the one hand, aid aimed at companies such as Eurostars y Sustainable Blue Economy and, on the other hand, subsidies aimed at innovation ecosystems.
AEI
Finally, the deputy head of the Scientific-Technical Thematic Programs Branch of the AEI, Estefania Freitas, has defined the public-private collaboration projects of its entity. Likewise, it has defined the lines of aid they offer in order to finance experimental development projects in collaboration between companies and research organizations. These grants are aimed at public and private R&D organizations and companies.
