On the matí of this holiday, December 17th, we celebrate the Presentation of Results of Innovative Projects of Espaitec. During the presentation they have exposed, to the responsibility of the responsible technicians, the projects Technological Map of the province of Castelló, per part of Lidia Vidal, UJI.>LAB, in charge of Francisco Martinez, Connection Transfer Antennas, per part of Sonia Damas i Mª Jesús Gascón. These projects aim to improve business competitiveness, promote University-Business collaboration and reciprocally transmit knowledge.
The act has continued to be inaugurated by the person responsible forArea of Technological Institutes and CEEI of'IVACE, Mariano Carrillo, at the cost of deputy vice-rector of transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship of the UJI, david cabedo, and the manager of the General Foundation of the UJI, Juan Antonio Bertolin. The three innovative projects have been completed thanks to the collaboration and financing of theValencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) by Col·laboració Agreement between this institution and the General Foundation of the Jaume I University, pear promote the transfer of knowledge and technology between universities and companies, donating support to innovative entrepreneurship.
The three innovative projects
The project Technological Map of the province of Castelló intend to identify and give visibility to them technology-based and innovative companies of the province, here is how to explore the possibilities of synergies i collaborations between them. One of the main objectives of this study geolocate, segment and assess Technology-based companies are a project in constant evolution and development.
The project UJI.>LAB It is in essence a creative project, that naix of the need to design technologically based solutions to the different reptes that society demands through mechanisms such as Treballs Fi de Grau or Fi de Màster. This project is linked to the cooperative methodology LivingLab (Quadruple Helix Framework: Industry, Government, Universitat and Society), which encourages European Network of LivingLabs (ENOLL), of which podcast He has been part of the current board of directors since 2011.
It should be noted that UJI.>LAB disposes of a FabLab the main mission of which is that of convert ideas into real prototypes that can be used by society, so they look for tangible solutions that can develop into future startups. To this end, a significant investment has been made in state-of-the-art machinery with: 3D printer, Resin Printer, Laser Carving Machine, Tall Tracer, Precision CNC i Large Format CNC.
Finally, the project Connection Transfer Antennas has focused the activity on posing in contact business professionals from the Sagunt i Vinaròs area with research groups of the Universitat Jaume I, through sessions ««face-to-face», with the goal of exploring collaborative possibilities. For now, two Transfer Days have been carried out to the cities of Sagunt i Vinaròs, with ease. networking (xarxa workshops and bilateral meetings between company professionals and research groups). The topics that have been discussed have followed, for example, the integrated management of Agricultural Pests, Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Ceramics, Glass and Nanotechnology, Manufacturing Engineer, Disseny Engineering, Waste Engineering, power, Electronics and Automatics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Heat Transfers, Fred i Electricitat, Multiphase Fluids, Solid State Chemistry, Environmental and Labor Risks, Process Reengineering and Business Digitalization.
